This Pale Blush & Dusty Blue Countryside Wedding at Heritage Alpaca Farm in Kokomo, Indiana features rose petal bridesmaids dresses, groomsmen in light grey vests and pants paired with dusty blue ties. The bride donned a crepe gown by Lillian West and a fingertip-length veil. Her bouquet was the most beautiful I’ve seen with peach and blush roses and ivory peonies. The evening ended in a white tent reception and a sparkler exit
June 20, 2020 — The first day of Summer // the longest day of the year with 15 hours and 7 minutes of daylight! And what a way to spend it than celebrating Corinna and Tayler becoming husband and wife!
From the start of the day, I was reminded of Corinna’s selfless personality. She has to be one of the most caring people I have ever met. When I arrived, Corinna was smiling from ear to ear as she is every minute I’ve ever seen her! While I started with her bridal details, she was coming in to check on ME, if I needed anything. What bride does that?! She was so laid back and all day tried her best to just enjoy the day. She was an absolute joy to work for.
And Tayler just goes with whatever Corinna wants. They were both up for anything I asked! And I loved it when they would feel comfortable asking me “Can we go take photos by the horse fence?” or Tayler telling me he wanted to kiss her on the next veil fluff. These two are my kind of people and I loved that they felt so comfortable with me because that’s 100% what I’m all about.
I am so blessed to do what I do. I feel truly honored to serve this couple and their family. By the end of the night, I was getting hugs from Corinna’s parents and they really made me feel like family. What more could a girl ask for?? Can I come to family reunions, please?!?!?!
It’s hard to describe just how much I loved being a part of this day. It was joyful, genuine and full of so much authentic love that just made my heart swell. When I first met these two, I sensed the love Tayler had for Corinna but on Saturday, I (and I’m sure everyone else) could FEEL just how over the moon he is for her! You can see it in the way he looks at her and the way his eyes watered when he saw her for the first time in her bridal gown. And we all heard it in the words he wrote about her in the ceremony. Corinna and Tayler’s relationship is so genuine and fun-loving, I can only wish the absolute best for them as they begin this incredible journey into marriage.
To the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson:
Thank you so much for inviting me into your life during this special season and letting me capture the first day of your forever. I love you both to pieces and couldn’t be happier for you!! Your day went by so quickly, even I didn’t want it to end! Enjoy reliving your day through my eyes and congratulations!! ♡
xo, Court
