This Spring bohemian-style wedding at BASH in Carmel, Indiana celebrated FINALLY being able to join Toan’s Vietnamese family with Tiffany’s. After seven years together, (and one year postponement) they are finally Mr. & Mrs. Nguyen!! This wedding features a stunning beaded gown with a scoop neck and capped sleeves, Lulu’s convertible bridesmaids dress in a bright peachy-pink and khaki-colored suits. The florals included succulents with a touch of softness in the roses, dahlias and baby’s breath. The copper pipe arch was paired with large pampas grasses and an aisle of soft colorful rugs to escort the bride to her future husband.
It is rare to find a truly good person without a bad bone in their body, let alone two of them. What’s even rarer is two of them finding each other — that’s Tiffany and Toan. They were thrown through the wringer when the pandemic made it impossible to get all of their family and friends together. With Tiffany’s sister working in healthcare in California, she was on a travel lockdown and travelling for others was tough. Through all of the pivoting, decision-making and cancelled plans, they have continued to be grounded and incredibly gracious.
If there is anyone who deserves the most beautiful life, it is Tiffany and Toan. They are two of the most selfless people I know who love and care for everyone around them especially those closest to them. Even during cocktail hour, Toan stopped me and asked if I was doing ok and Tiffany would stop me and make sure I didn’t need anything. I mean, c’mon! Who does that on THEIR wedding day?!
Tiffany and Toan have so much love for each other. It’s clear to see it in the way they look at each other, touch each other and talk to one another. Honestly, during their first dance, it was like no one else was in the room!! I remember telling them this during sunset portraits and Toan even said “honestly, it felt that way”. UGH. Their love is something special and it was so incredible to not only witness firsthand but to capture and be cherished forever.
To the newlyweds, Mr & Mrs Nguyen,
It was an absolute honor to share in your day and serve you both while you finally became husband and wife. It has given me so much joy to be part of this special season of your lives and I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to capture it!! I know you two are heading to Hawaii and leaving your babies at home but don’t you worry, they’ll be so happy to see you when you get back!! Enjoy my favorites from your best day ever and soak in that Hawaiian sun for me!
xo, Court
ohhhhh boy, get ready for this sweet moment
ahhhh!! Tiffany you are so gorgeous!
Tiffany and Toan’s Vietnamese Tea Ceremony — Tiffany served tea to Toan’s mother, aunt and uncle. And Toan served tea to Tiffany’s mother, father and brother in law.
UGH. The sweetest moment — so I totally forgot to remind them that we plan to walk away from the ceremony so they can get a few “just married” moments alone. But luckily, they did have literally maybe 20 seconds and I caught this tender moment that just tugs at my heart strings so hard.
