Fall Apple Orchard Engagement Session | Huntington, Indiana
Emily was referred to me by another photographer friend and from our first conversation, I knew this girl was going to be a joy to work with! I met with Emily for coffee late October and near the end of our chat, we were both looking at calendars and weather apps to find a perfect day to squeeze her engagement session in before the weather turned to CRAP for the rest of the year! The 30th called for 60+ degrees but possible rain…so we scheduled. Leading up to the day, it was rain, cold and wind. When Tuesday came around and what do ya know…. 60 DEGREES AND SUNNY OMG. This day was absolutely GORGEOUS. She could be comfortable in her beautiful short sleeve dress (that she got while on a trip to Texas!) and all the shades of yellow, red and orange in the trees were so perfect in that glowy sunset! This was the best case scenario and I’m so glad this blessing of an evening went to Emily and Brooks because they deserve it!
These two have been together for about 3 years and they are just so sweet! Brooks was easy going about having his photo taken (and mastered the nuzzle very quickly!) and CLEARLY the camera loves Emily! These two are so photogenic! Next summer they’re getting married at Parkview Field in Downtown Fort Wayne where the Tin Caps play (and where they had their first date!! How cute!!) and those photos on the field will be EPIC. I’m so stoked!
The craziest part of Emily and my’s paths crossing is that she is taking a photo class at Huntington University AND studying GRAPHIC DESIGN. I mean, is she a mini-me?? (minus the fact that she runs track so in way better shape and also much sweeter than I)
Thank you Indiana weather for giving us a break from the poopy weather and giving Emily and Brooks these gorgeous photos!
I love your posing and the ring shots are GORGEOUS!
Such a dreamy session Courtney – those fall colours are so gorgeous!! And her ring..wow! Beautiful work
These colors are just amazing…… I love how you captured these two!! They’re adorable!
What an adorable couple! The fall colors are just dreamy, and I especially love those ring photos. Great work!
