What a sweet session we were able to squeeze in juuust before the weather turned FREEZING. Literally. I couldn’t believe how lucky we got! Jessica and I were discussing session plans on Wednesday and as I looked at the weather, we had NO TIME TO WASTE. A low in the 30s is no fun for sessions. Possible, just not super fun! And I’m so thankful these two very busy medical professionals were available to drive up to my hometown on Sunday because we had the last possible day that she could have worn a dress as she did!
And real quick, can we talk about my little hometown pulling through with the fall colors again this year?? I shoot here every Fall at least once! Here are two more engagement sessions here, and you can see my signature shot that has become a trend at this location lol
Jessica was a past bridesmaid (from Torie and Brad’s wedding at The Kennedy Estate!) and I was SO thrilled when she inquired this past month because I remember her being so sweet and having so much with those girls that day! And when I met Ryan, I witnessed the sweetest relationship. They are both so gentle and kind and both with a silly side that I just loved capturing!
I’m already so excited to see them again at their wedding next June at Iron & Ember Events! When I asked Jessica what she was thinking for colors, she said she was thinking about a pale blue and I told her how much I looooved pale blue bridesmaids’ dresses, especially in the Spring! I can already tell Jessica will have a classic style and their wedding day will be filled with elegant Spring themes! I can’t wait to have them in front of my camera again (and thanksfully in much warmer weather by then!)
Also, I have to mention, Jessica’s bright red boots… she 100% brought those for walking around in case it was muddy. But when she pulled up and I saw how cute they were, I said, omg you should totally wear those for a few! It was a last-minute wardrobe change but they made the cutest little accent in these first set of photos!!
