Intimate flower garden COVID-19 wedding at Foster Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana features a blush wedding layered tulle gown, grey tuxes with pink ties a backyard reception and a sunset sparkler exit in the streets!

I have been anxiously awaiting the day to serve this couple! Katie first inquired with me about booking me for her wedding BACK IN 2018! I had to tell her that I wouldn’t book 2020 weddings until January 1 of 2019. Well, this girl was on it! January 6th, I have a message from her to grab coffee and talk wedding!

I distinctly remember her telling me that she had been following me and my work for a while and loved it. She told me as she would look around at other photographers, she would ask Anis what he thought and he would say, “You know you want to go with her so why are you even looking at others?” (something like that lol). I left that coffee date on Cloud 9 not only because I had booked their wedding but because as a wedding photographer, my goal is to have brides know they want to have me for their day before they’re even engaged! It made my heart soar!

So as COVID-19 hit, Katie and Anis had to make the tough decision that so many couples are facing this year. They decided to stick with their same date (since this girl had been waiting for YEARS to become this man’s wife!!) and opted for an intimate garden wedding ceremony at Foster Park and a backyard party afterward.

This day was filled with so much joy! I absolutely loved meeting and spending time with their friends and family! I truly felt like I was part of the family! I heard from so many people that day that Katie had raved about me and, my goodness, that just made me blush so hard! I am so honored for them to join the family of Rose Courts Couples!

To the Newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Softic,

It was an absolute honor to capture your day. You two are so, so loved and it was such a joy to be a part of this day you had both been waiting so long for! I know you two are most likely sipping drinks on the beaches of the Dominican but enjoy reliving this beautiful day from my point of view! I just love you guys to pieces and I am so happy for you to begin this journey! Congratulations!!!
