This Indiana summer wedding features gold sparkly bridesmaids, navy blue suits, and greenery-filled burgundy bouquets. The bride wore a stunning champagne ball gown with a floral lace overlay and a cathedral length veil with floral lace detail. The evening ended with bride & groom portraits in the vineyard vines and a sparkler exit!
This day started like every other wedding day. Bride and bridesmaids hanging out, vendors setting up. But the longer this day went on, I started to see exactly why Elise loves Harrison so much. He literally knows the way to her brightest smile and gives her that big belly laugh!
I smiled ALL DAY watching them interact, some of the times, I didn’t even have to tell them how to pose, they just laughed and smiled and held each other so perfectly (thanks to their engagement session haha!) for the first time, I could literally just watch them be cute and capture beautiful, genuine emotions from them and it was awesome!
This is why the engagement session is SO KEY because I felt like a friend on their day to the point where they could just BE THEMSELVES in front of me and not be nervous or awkward. I just love that.
And Elise’s taste in gowns is OBVIOUSLY PERFECT BECAUSE HER DRESS WAS A DREAM. My goodness, every single person attending could not get over how stunning her champagne ball gown with floral lace overlay was like a real-life Cinderella! And her cathedral-length veil had a matching lace overlay and my goodness was it fun to play with in photos! UGH — just an absolute dream. Thank you, Elise, for giving me such fun and gorgeous bridal attire to play with all day!!
The longer I spent with Harrison and Elise, the more I realized they are just like me and my husband! They dance just like us (you’ll find in the reception photos) and when Elise requested “Oh Sherrie” and sang every word, aggressively to her sister, I felt like I was at home!
To the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon,
It was an absolute joy to serve you both on this special day! I loved watching you both be so happy together and your love SHINES in your images! I’ll never forget how fun you and your wedding party was! I could have hung out with you guys forever! Enjoy reliving your day through my favorite images!! I loved serving you both and wish you the absolute best! Congratulations!!

Had SO MUCH FUN with this veil! I will never get tired of shooting a cathedral-length veil blowing in the wind! 10/10 recommend for brides!
My goodness, Elise, YOU ARE STUNNING, HOLY MOLY!
After I told them they laughed so well like catalog models they wanted to do more of a J.Crew catalog look and they NAILED IT.
Oh my goodness, this is the first time I have had full-blown TEARS at a wedding. The DJ announced that the couple asked for Elise’s family to come out to the dance floor and they had no idea why. She lost her dad 12 years ago and I lost it when she cried immediately when she embraced her uncle.
But then we went out to the vines for last-minute portraits and had a fun time where, as I mentioned before, I barely had to tell them what to do. They were just being themselves as I shot through the vines and the last bit of daylight fell on their wedding day.
I think this one looks like it could legitimately be a J.Crew ad
And again, just being cute, per usual!
