From a white tent reception at an alpaca farm to a backyard COVID wedding to barns and ballrooms! The RC Weddings this year were all across the style spectrum and I loved every part of it! The reception is always when the fun really begins!

By this time of the day, my schedule becomes less strict. I let the DJ run the events of the evening and I am more of a fly on the wall. Until sunset though! That’s when I sneak away with the bride and groom for some last light of the day photos with the beautiful glowy light! We usually do this during open dancing so nobody realizes we’re away and the party never stops!

Speaking of the party … I LOVE when I’m sorting through and editing the party dancing photos because they always get me smiling! So much joy and some seriously hilarious shots are captured when the lights are low and the music is bumpin’! A little booze and some great music can really bring out a whole new side to some of the people I’ve spent all day with! AND I LOVE IT! Dance Floor Trick

Corinna and Tayler’s DJ has this little trick to get everyone on the dance floor while also getting a really fun picture! He asks everyone to come out on the dance floor for their pictures (which I direct) and on the very last one he starts crowd pleaser and everyone just starts dancing! IT WAS BRILLIANT! (No not everyone is in my frame but it makes for a cute photo and gets everyone up and out of their seats right off the bat!

This was Kendra’s mom and dad and they danced for SO LONG together on their dance floor! I couldn’t stop taking pics of them!
