Promenade Park Engagement | Downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana
When I first met with Kate, I was so excited when she said “I waited so long for a photographer and Anis said ‘why do you keep looking at other photographers, you know you like Courtney'” — She is what I hope all my potential brides to be like someday! She follows and keeps up on my work and then when it’s her turn, she contacts me! She was so excited to have me on her team and I’m so honored to be a part of it!
Anis (pronounced “on-iss”) is Bosnian and from what I hear from Kate, their wedding should be a blast! He is on the police force of Fort Wayne and Kate also works for the police department! I am truly, TRULY honored to serve a couple who serves the community!
I’m pretty sure we used the absolute last decent day of fall colors for this engagement session and I’m so glad cause it’s the last of the leaves on the trees and temps above 50! We started in Headwaters Park and headed over to the new Promenade Park. These two also brought two kids and they ALSO LOVED ME. I swear, I think kids just like me because I’m also a kid at heart.
Kate, Anis, it was a pleasure spending a lovely fall evening with you guys and I hope you enjoyed it too! Enjoy this season of engagement ’cause it goes by so fast! Can’t wait ’til July for the big bash at Baker Street Station!
BEAUTIFUL!!!! I especially love the bridge photos! Her scarf in those images is awesome!!
Seriously, BEAUTIFUL colors!!! Everything about these from their outfits to the settings just screams autumn in the best way possible! I can’t wait to see their wedding!
Love the fall colors. My favs are on the bridge.
