Headwaters and Promenade Park Sunset Downtown Engagement | Fort Wayne, Indiana

Downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana has become one of my favorite places to shoot engagement sessions! The city planted the most colorful trees at Headwaters which offers an amazing view of the skyline (although I didn’t get it in this session). But then the new Promenade Park is STUNNING and offers a beautiful view of the sunset behind the historical Wells Street Bridge!

I have known Cameron since high school and if you would have told me back then that I would have him in front of my camera and be shooting his wedding someday, I’d think you were crazy! (seeing as how I never even dreamed of becoming a wedding photographer) But then Jordian came along. When I met her for the first time at our house for a winter party, I knew she was JUST the woman for him. I love getting to know people from my past better and finding out they have a soft jelly on the inside (’cause most guys in my friend-circle have a pretty tough exterior haha!)

You may find an extra somebody in their images and that would be Hayden, Jordian’s son. And after this session, we are BESTIES! I am blown away at how well-behaved this boy is and OH SO CUTE with those curls! I’m actually soo glad they brought Hayden to their session because I got to meet him and give him a chance to get comfortable around me and my camera. Because I know on the wedding day (IN 3 WEEKS), he’ll be the second star of the show!

I mean, come ON! Look at that tree and that glow… omg I was in heaven!

FAVE! These two are real cute, I said “Now just pull her in nice and tight!” what girl wouldn’t have a cute little smirk admiring her fiance?!
