Oh goodness, these two… They were SUCH a joy to meet and spend a beautiful fall evening with! Hannah and Noah met me at their alma mater, Purdue University, for their engagement session on Halloween night and as you can imagine, campus was POPPIN! It was filled with costumed students, motorized scooters and even motorized skateboards! One skateboard was a TRAIN ENGINE — no joke — he’s pictured down below haha! He was zoomin!
It’s funny because I talked with Hannah and Noah about going down to the boathouse and they said “well… there isn’t that much down there… idk if you’ll want to stay down there? or come back up to campus?”
WOW it was beautiful down there! I used up every bit of daylight we had to soak up all that beautiful color and soft sunset light!! The former Purdue Crew rowers busted out their jackets for some photos at the docks and I even learned a little about the sport. One surprising note : that they don’t row in the summer like you would imagine… No they row even when the waters are icy cold! …. uh no thanks! I like my water sports when it’s warm out!
I can’t wait for their wedding at The Wooded Knot in the summer! I wondered how they even found out about this venue and they said her dad found it when their first choice was a no-go! (Way to go dad!) So for now, enjoy this sweet couple’s beautiful fall engagement at Purdue University!
OH! And to top off this fun evening, Hannah and Noah BROUGHT ME SNACKS FOR MY DRIVE HOME!!! *cue the ugly crying* GOSH I HAVE THE BEST COUPLES!!
Ok, now you may enjoy their photos!
Train engine skateboard!! Seriously, this guy was FLYING. I guess this is what you should expect from an engineering school…
Oh my goodness, Hannah, the way Noah looks at you! UGH! SO SWEET!
Guys — it was this moment that I saw Hannah feeling VERY confident — like she just turned it on for this one! I even stopped and shouted “YES GIRL!!”
They are such a beautiful couple!!! And these colors are absolutely stunning! <3 You captured these perfectly!

Beautiful fall engagement photos. It looks like such a fun sessions!
These images are so lovely! You really seem to have captured your clients love and the autumn background just amplified the look of this gorgeous engagement session.
These pictures are so awesome! Noah was ready to be born on a foggy morning in January when I got the call to come watch his sister. Watching him grow from that day forward has been such a joy and he turned into a very hard working young man. The last time we had our family group Zoom he shared how he sent a Mother’s Day card to his Aunt Mary that was returned because he had an old address. Sadly she passed away on June 9; I think I cried more about the fact he did this little act of kindness on his own. Seeing Hannah and him happy fills my Aunt heart full of joy. It is going to be a beautiful wedding next year and I’m glad they chose you
to take their pictures.
What a sweet story! Thank you so much for sharing!! I can’t wait for their wedding day!
Such beautiful photos!!
Hannah and her charming family have been the most thoughtful since we met all those years ago. The after-shoot snacks don’t surprise me one bit! They are simply the best people. ❤️
We are wishing this couple well in their future together all the way from southern Indiana.
They really are the sweetest and most thoughtful people! I truly have the best clients! The pleasure is all mine to be a part of their day! ❤️❤️
