Wow. Just wow! What a beautiful day celebrating a beautiful couple! It was seriously such a joy and honor to serve this beautiful couple. Emily and Brooks are so loved and it was a joy meeting their family, hearing their stories and sharing in the love of their day! Kelsey, Emily’s best friend, had a beautiful speech where I got to learn more about this beautiful couple and who they are as people and it felt so good to be serving them and giving them my very best because they absolutely deserve the best in everything! They are a very special couple and it was truly an honor to capture their best day ever!
Emily was referred to me from a photographer friend and the moment we met for coffee to discuss her downtown Fort Wayne wedding, I felt so good about it! We both got engaged within a couple of weeks of each other and we were both still so giddy (and a bit overwhelmed) about all the wedding planning! Over that hour, we exchanged our wedding dreams, the vendors we had reached out to already and our colors and it felt like we were already friends! I just love this couple so much!

These sunset photos, omgggg! Ladies and gentlemen, I cannot express enough how important these photos are because first off, sunset light is amazing and creates the most gorgeous, intimate and romantic portraits ever but MOST IMPORTANTLY it could possibly be your last moments of alone time with your new spouse on your wedding day! I promise you won’t regret stepping away from the hustle and bustle of the reception for these quiet moments, just you two… and me 🙂

The nerves kick in before they see their bride because when they see her, everything becomes VERY real! So when the nerves start creeping up, instead of keeping the groom in a secluded space until his time to enter the ceremony, what if you took him to a private place with no people, no on-lookers, no distractions… and you let his beautiful bride, the love of his life, quietly call his name and have him turn around to see her for the first time. He would turn around and finally get his First Look at his stunning bride and not only would he get to see her but he could truly embrace her, cry with her, kiss her and ENJOY that sweet moment with her for as long as he wanted!
