This is the framework I use to choose and layout the images for each and every one of my blog posts. In this lesson, I’ll go through the storyline with you. So go ahead and download your copy where you’re watching this video and we’ll go through it together!
THE WEDDING BLOG STORYLINE
Exterior shots of Getting Ready / Venue
Shot of Bride getting ready (not in dress)
Exterior shots of getting ready location (if different)
Groom getting ready
Bride getting in the dress
Bride putting on shoes, earrings, perfume, etc
Bridesmaids dress fluff // Bridesmaids reveal // Photo with mother
Daddy/daughter first look
Wedding party portraits
More B&G portraits (if you moved to a different lighting scenario)
Exterior shots of ceremony location
“Just Married” portraits
Exterior shots of the reception venue
– Entrance (1 or two, only B&G)
– First dances
– Toasts (2-3)
– Cake (1-2)

Photo of myself with the couple
This is obviously for a wedding with a First Look and the Reception photos can be changed up in order of which the events happened but this is the basic structure of my blogs. You can see for yourself on my wedding blogs!
